The work of Lettering Cat, who majored in Industrial Design at the University of Seoul and worked as a designer in various fields such as logo, CI, BI, 3D, and interior, contains creative ideas from various experiences and perfection using various tools he handles. He started his NFT activities in November 2021 with a collection called "LetteringCat" and is now an NFT artist who runs four collections.
The first "LetteringCat" collection is a collection of cute cats who express letters with flexible bodies. Based on the novel story that cats began to study letters and express them with their bodies to talk to their beloved butlers, they maximized the advantages of the fun collection by utilizing the fun characteristics of letters such as Hangul, alphabet, and number. It also works as a variety of goods containing lettering cat characters such as postcards, stickers, and grip talks.
The second "Lestorang" collection is a collection that depicts the daily life stories of lettering cat. With cute lettering cat character, it melts various backgrounds and materials, making you feel like you are looking at the SNS of the character Lettering Cat.
The fourth "MECHA VERSE" collection is a collection that depicts a new world with everything made up of mechanics. It is a collection that reinterprets various things in the world, including animals, plants, and objects, in the artist's own color and draws a mechanical picture, and offers the benefit of dropping another NFT called "MECHA CARD" for free whenever you purchase a work or put a bid in an offer.

Lettering Cat with Bonfire

인터뷰
Q1. 본인이 생각하는 한국 NFT만의 특징은 무엇인가요?
A. 다양한 스타일과 개성이 넘치는 작가들이 많이 있어 아주 색다른 작품들이 많이 있는 것 같고, 신기할 정도로 작가들끼리 서로 서로 많이 도와주고 정보를 많이 공유하며 지내는 것 같다는 생각이 든다. 또한 카카오톡을 통해 개인 작가들마다 커뮤니티가 활성화되어 있어서 작가들에게 관심이 있는 사람들이 손쉽게 대화를 나눌 수 있는 장점이 있는 것 같다.
Q2. 태국에 대한 인상적인 기억이나 경험이 있다면 알려주세요
A. 중학교 2학년 때 인생 첫 해외여행으로 태국의 파타야와 방콕을 다녀왔는데, 아직 까지도 내 눈으로 직접 본 광경 중에서는 가장 아름다운 풍경이었다는 생각이 들고, 어렸을 때였지만 아직도 기억에 남을 정도로 대부분의 태국 분들이 친절하게 대해줬던 것 같아서 좋은 기억으로 남아있다.
Q3. 태국 아티스트 친구가 생기면 하고 싶은 것? or 태국에서 하고 싶은 활동?
A. 한국 뿐만 아니라 태국의 작품들과 문화도 구경해보고 싶고, 개인적으로 영어를 잘 못해서 태국 친구가 생긴다면 서로 소통하면서 실생활 영어를 사용해보는 경험도 가져보고 싶다. 또한 한국의 재밌는 문화나 장소들을 소개해주고 싶다.
Q4. 태국 아티스트들과의 지속적인 교류에 대한 좋은 아이디어가 있다면 말씀해주세요
A. 아직 경험은 못해봤지만 이렇게 태국 아티스트와 마니또처럼 프렌즈 매칭을 할 수도 있다는 점이 엄청 신박하게 다가오고, 이런 식으로 개인과 개인이 연락해서 더 깊게 얘기할 수 있는 기회가 많이 생긴다면 여럿 이서 만나는 기회들보다도 훨씬 좋을 것 같다는 생각이 든다.
Q5. 끝으로, 하고 싶은 말이 있으시다면요?
A. 제 작품 인생에 아주 좋은 기회가 될 것 같아서 너무 감사드리고 영어나 다른 나라에 대한 두려움이 조금 있어서 한국 활동 외에는 도전해볼 용기가 많이 없었는데, 이렇게 태국의 훌륭한 작가들과 작품들을 볼 수 있는 기회가 생겨서 이번을 계기로 더 다양하고 넓은 활동을 할 수 있을 것 같다는 생각이 듭니다.

Q1. What's the characteristic of NFT in Thailand?
A. There are many artists with various styles and personalities, so there are many very different works, and strangely, I think artists help each other a lot and share a lot of information with each other. In addition, the community is activated for each individual writer through Kakao Talk, so it seems that there is an advantage that people interested in writers can easily talk.
Q2. Do you have any impressive memories or experiences about Korea?
A. I went to Pattaya and Bangkok in Thailand for my first overseas trip in my second year of middle school, and I still think it was the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen with my own eyes, and I still remember that most Thai people were so kind to me.
Q3. What do you want to do when you have a Korean artist friend?
Or what do you want to do in Korea?
A. I want to see not only Korean but also Thai works and culture, and if I have a Thai friend because I am not good at English, I want to communicate with each other and experience using real-life English with each other. Also, I would like to introduce interesting cultures and places in Korea.
Q4. Please tell me if you have any good ideas for continuous communication with Korean artists.
A. I haven't experienced it yet, but it's very new to be able to match friends with Thai artists like Manito, and if there are many opportunities for individuals to contact and talk more deeply in this way, it would be much better than meeting with many people.
Q5. Anything you want to say?
A. Thank you very much for my work. I was afraid of English and other countries, so I didn't have much courage to challenge other than Korean activities. I think I can do more diverse activities with this opportunity to see great artists and works in Thailand.
